Under the 14th Five-Year Plan, the 2025–26 budget aims at comprehensive development and social security through six major missions:
- Housing for all homeless families
- Eradication of extreme poverty
- Strengthening the Family Health Centre and palliative care services
- A waste-free New Kerala
- Vayalar Festival 2025
- A Comprehensive Sports Village Initiative
